The site is located in the center of the block of neighborhood living facilities and faces the end of a dead end road. This remodeling project was carried out with a clear goal of converting a residential building with one basement level and five floors above the ground into a shared space for designers. On the lower floor, a cafe and everyone's lounge were arranged to be open to all users as well as external users, resulting in a lamp impact effect centered on the block. The selection of finishing materials was also made with white-toned stone gushing to illuminate the dark block center.
Part of the Pilotti parking lot was devoted as a lounge space to secure a sense of openness, and the spaces on the second and fifth floors were changed to shared office spaces for designers. The elevation was planned in a multi-layered structure at the top contrasting with the simple mass in the lower layer, and designed as a new interpretation and fun element for the Jeongbuk-Iljosa Line.
