Designers must always think about what they can offer society and how they can breathe with the city and look around. Based on this idea, I would like to talk about the attitude that business-commercial facilities should have in an old residential area through LOFT254.

The site was built 30 years ago as a densely populated residential area, with narrow roads and lack of open space, lack of consideration for pedestrians and children. . Based on these problems, LOFT254 tried to become a sustainable space that can serve as an open space and streetlight.

The project has been a typical house for 30 years. The 6m sidewalk mixed-use road was narrow due to the wall of the house, lacking open space, safety for pedestrians and the elderly, and insufficient lighting in the evening. To solve this problem, LOFT254 creates a small public open space by opening the fence, and gives a lamp effect that can act as a street light at night, experimenting on what kind of consideration a small neighborhood can give to an old city street. construction proceeded.
